staxera GmbH is a manufacturer of solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) stacks. staxera supplies the core technology of SOFC stacks and integrated stack modules (ISM) to industrial manufacturers of SOFC systems. Market entry products are microCHP units for single family houses and systems for decentralized electricity gneration. The microCHP units will be rigorously tested for suitability in domestic applications as part of the callux program of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.

SOFC systems offer extremely high efficiencies with a variety of fuels and applications, thanks to their high electrical conversion efficiency and their high  temperature exhaust gas. staxera will act as an independent supplier of stacks and ISMs, thereby accelerating SOFC technology towards maturity.
