staxera is manufacturer and supplier of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). These are supplied in the form of an integrated stack module (ISM). staxera is 100% owned by Enerday GmbH and Webasto AG.

SOFC technology is in our view the ideal energy efficient technology to convert gaseous and liquid hydrocarbons to electrical energy and high grade heat. Hydrocarbon fuels can be sourced either from either fossil or biogeneous sources – the optimum solution is always adapted to local availability and needs.

First end-customer products are mobile applications and microCHP units for residential heating. SOFC systems can produce electricity with high efficiency and can be used to supply high grade heat and electrical power in parallel (CHP). The number of potential application is nearly unlimited.
